“Benito Antonio” collection blends Puerto Rican identity with global fashion

San Juan- Bad Bunny and Zara are bringing Puerto Rican culture to the global fashion stage through “Benito Antonio,” an exclusive collection inspired by the artist’s Caribbean identity, personal style and creative vision.

The collection, which already generated major excitement in Puerto Rico ahead of its global release on May 21, features warm tones, pastel colors, oversized silhouettes and visual references tied to Puerto Rican culture, including domino tables displayed throughout Zara’s pop-up experience at Plaza Las Américas.

Fans flooded the store after Bad Bunny made a surprise appearance at the shopping center, where videos of the artist leaving with bags filled with merchandise quickly went viral across social media.

The collection includes shirts, pants, suits, ties, jackets, caps and accessories blending neutral tones with colorful fabrics inspired by the artist’s current aesthetic.

The collaboration traces its origins back to Bad Bunny’s 31-show residency last summer at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, where Zara created Puerto Rico-themed shirts that achieved strong international demand.

According to the company, that success eventually led to collaborations tied to the Super Bowl and the Met Gala, where Bad Bunny wore custom looks designed alongside Zara.

The project was developed with creative director Janthony Oliveras, who described the collection as an effort to capture Bad Bunny’s current identity and evolving style.

The Grammy-winning artist will also launch his upcoming tour in Spain beginning May 22, coinciding with the international rollout of the “Benito Antonio” collection.
