Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico has earned a MICHELIN Key, adding an international distinction to the property as Puerto Rico continues to expand its presence in the luxury hospitality market.

The Río Grande resort received the recognition from the MICHELIN Guide just one month before marking its first anniversary operating under the Four Seasons brand in Puerto Rico.

Designed as the hotel counterpart to MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, MICHELIN Keys recognize properties that stand out for their hospitality experience, including service, character, design, comfort and the overall guest experience.

The recognition places Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico among a select group of hotels recognized by MICHELIN and adds another credential to the island’s growing luxury tourism offering.

Located between El Yunque National Forest and the Atlantic Ocean, the resort combines accommodations and residences with wellness experiences, golf and a growing culinary program designed around Puerto Rico’s natural environment and hospitality.

General Manager Pablo Molinari credited the distinction to the resort’s workforce and its approach to personalized service.

“This recognition is a reflection of the dedication and passion of our entire team,” Molinari said, noting that employees play a central role in creating the guest experience and representing Puerto Rican hospitality to international travelers.

The property employs more than 300 people, including Puerto Rican professionals who returned to the island as Four Seasons established its presence locally. Among them are Executive Chef Víctor Rosado and Adriana Negrón, director of Public Relations and Marketing, who brought professional experience gained outside Puerto Rico back to the local hospitality industry.

The recognition also extends to the residential component of the development, reinforcing the positioning of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico within the island’s high end hospitality and residential market.

For Puerto Rico, the distinction comes as the island continues competing for travelers in the luxury segment and attracting international hospitality brands and investment.

The MICHELIN Key further positions the Río Grande property within the Caribbean luxury market while providing Puerto Rico with another internationally recognized hospitality asset.
