The Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce is expanding the way it engages with the island’s business community through “Desde el Tapón,” a new podcast focused on the conversations, leaders and ideas influencing Puerto Rico’s economic environment.
The initiative was introduced by Liza García, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce, and Chamber President Che Julio Aparicio, who discussed the concept behind the podcast and the organization’s vision for the new platform.
At its core, “Desde el Tapón” seeks to move business conversations beyond traditional conferences and networking events by creating a digital space where executives, entrepreneurs, innovators and other industry voices can discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping Puerto Rico.
Topics will range from business and entrepreneurship to innovation, technology and sports, with an emphasis on their connection to economic activity, investment, leadership and the development of new industries.
For the Chamber, the podcast also represents an opportunity to broaden its reach and connect with a new generation of entrepreneurs and professionals consuming business information through digital platforms.
The format is expected to highlight different perspectives and stories while examining the trends and ideas influencing how companies operate, compete and grow in Puerto Rico.
As businesses increasingly navigate technological transformation, changing consumer behavior and new economic opportunities, platforms such as “Desde el Tapón” can provide another avenue for discussing the decisions and strategies affecting the private sector.
