Puerto Rico and Florida are strengthening their business relationship through the Economic Development Business Leaders Summit 2026
Puerto Rico will strengthen its commercial ties with Florida through the Economic Development Business Leaders Summit 2026, an international forum that will bring together business executives, investors, government officials and multisector organizations to promote investment and strategic partnerships.
The two-day event will take place Sept. 17-18 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, with a program focused on fostering collaboration, innovation, economic development and access to new markets.
Summit Director Miriam Martínez said the initiative is designed to connect projects, talent and capital, transforming those relationships into tangible business opportunities for both Puerto Rico and Florida.
The agenda will feature discussions on small and medium-sized business competitiveness, infrastructure, logistics, municipal development, business leadership and public-private collaboration.
On Sept. 17, the event will host Women Leaders Connect 2026, a program dedicated to women’s leadership and entrepreneurship.
The following day, participants will attend the Economic Development & Strategic Growth Forum, featuring keynote presentations and panel discussions on investment opportunities, economic development and regional growth strategies.
Organizers expect the summit to serve as a platform for expanding cross-market partnerships and strengthening long-term economic collaboration between Puerto Rico and Florida.
