Autocare announced the opening of its second Charlie Boy Wash & Lube location in Bayamón as part of the company’s broader expansion strategy across Puerto Rico.

The new facility, located at Plaza Río Bayamón along Road 177 in the Los Filtros sector, marks the first of two Charlie Boy locations the company plans to open in Bayamón this year. A second site is expected to open this summer in Rexville, bringing the combined investment for both projects to nearly $12 million and generating approximately 24 direct jobs.

According to Enrique Irizarry Pérez, the company has maintained operations in Bayamón since the early 2000s and identified the municipality as a key market for continued growth.

The newly opened center features a 120-foot automated wash tunnel capable of servicing up to 1,000 vehicles per day through an integrated system designed to streamline washing, drying and vehicle care processes.

In addition to car wash services, the facility offers walk-in quick lube oil change services and a self-service interior cleaning area equipped with multiple stations, allowing customers to complete several vehicle maintenance tasks in a single visit.

Autocare currently operates 17 locations under its Hi Tech, Charlie Boy and Mr. Quick’s brands. As part of its ongoing growth strategy, the company expects to open three additional stores before the end of the year, increasing its footprint to 20 locations and bringing its cumulative investment to more than $40 million.

Company officials said the expansion reflects increasing demand for fast, technology-driven automotive services while maintaining customer-focused operations in key Puerto Rico markets.
