Pentaq Manufacturing Corp. of Sabana Grande has secured a major federal apparel contract valued at $41.36 million to produce the U.S. military’s next generation of Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniforms for female service members.
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support office in Philadelphia announced the award, noting that the fixed‑price, indefinite‑delivery/indefinite‑quantity agreement will run for five years, through Aug. 5, 2031, with no option periods. The contract covers the production of both coats and trousers designed for high‑heat environments.
The deal was competitively bid, drawing 13 offers, underscoring the demand for military textile work. The uniforms will be supplied to the Army, Air Force, and Space Force, funded through fiscal 2026–2031 defense working capital allocations.
