The new facility expands the fitness chain’s reach in eastern Puerto Rico, offering strength training, cardio equipment and premium membership amenities.
Planet Fitness has officially opened a new gym in Fajardo, bringing its total number of locations in Puerto Rico to 21 as the fitness chain continues expanding its presence across the island.
The new facility offers strength training equipment, more than 30 cardiovascular machines, a dedicated high-intensity interval training (HIIT) area and spaces for mobility and stretching exercises.
The club also features a Black Card Spa for eligible members, with HydroMassage chairs, massage and recovery equipment, and hybrid tanning beds.
The Fajardo location will operate 24 hours a day from Sunday through Thursday. On Fridays, it will close at 10 p.m., while Saturday hours will run from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Expanding Access to Fitness
The new location is part of Planet Fitness’ strategy to provide affordable and accessible fitness facilities while strengthening its connection with local communities.
Memberships include access to strength and cardio equipment, along with the Planet Fitness app, which offers hundreds of on-demand workouts.
PF Black Card members receive additional benefits, including guest privileges, access to the Black Card Spa and use of more than 2,900 Planet Fitness locations.
The expansion also reflects the continued growth of the company’s franchise network. Easy Mile Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise operator headquartered in Boston, operates 75 clubs across several U.S. states, Puerto Rico and Ontario, Canada.
Globally, Planet Fitness reported approximately 21.5 million members and 2,930 clubs as of June 30, 2026.
