Puerto Rican artist Draco Rosa has released Olas de Luz, his latest studio album, alongside the premiere of the music video for the single “Carro de Heno.” The video, directed by Redamo Rosa, was filmed in Old San Juan and the Imperial Sand Dunes.
The 12-track album marks a new creative phase for the artist, blending cinematic elements with introspective themes that explore love, memory, and human connection. The project departs from conventional structures, presenting a narrative-driven soundscape that emphasizes mood and atmosphere over traditional formats.
“This album is born from chaos and the raw pulse of life,” Rosa said, describing the work as an effort to connect with audiences on an emotional level rather than adhere to commercial expectations.
Ahead of the album’s release, Rosa introduced two singles that set the tone for the project. “Montserrat” presents an intense, narrative-driven exploration of love and destiny, while “Colores del Ayer” takes a more introspective approach, focusing on memory and emotional resilience.
With Olas de Luz, Rosa continues to expand his artistic repertoire, offering a project that underscores his evolution as a musician while reinforcing his presence in the Latin alternative music scene.
